Alem Ferris Wheel

Alem Ferris Wheel

The Alem Cultural and Entertainment Center on Archabil Avenue is one of the most favorite recreation and leisure areas of Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital. The appearance of the Ferris wheel – a star of Oguzkhan, inscribed in a circle and framed with five gels, symbolizes the national decoration of gulliak, which is one of the standards of the ancient art of the Turkmen zerg people. This giant structure, 95 meters high, resembles a step pyramid with a Ferris wheel with an outer diameter of about 57 meters on top. The basis of this center is the Ferris wheel designed for 24 six-seater cabins. The construction, recognized as the largest closed Ferris wheel by the Guinness Book of World Records on May 18, 2012, has once again demonstrated that the construction and architectural work carried out in the capital city, which is good day after day, meets international standards.
