Short Turkmenistan tour for transit tourists from Iran to Uzbekistan.
Tour itinerary:
Meeting in the morning at Bajgiran (Iran-Turkmenistan) border, drive to Ashgabat, check in the hotel. Start sightseeing, visit: Independence square, Neutrality monument, National museum, Alem ferris wheel, Memorial complex, Ahal-Teke horse complex. Visit Russian bazaar for gift shopping, after dinner “Ashgabat night” excursion. overnight at hotel.
Sightseeing in Ashgabat after breakfast: Old Nisa, Turkmenbashi mosque. After lunch visit Altyn Asyr bazaar (if bazaar open that day), and drive to Darvaza. On the way to Darvaza visit village life of Karakum Desert at Yerbent. Set up tents near the Gas Crater (or rent a yurtah), enjoy fire cooked meal, overnight in tents/yurtah.
Drive to Konurgench (250km). Visit mousoleums and building from 11th to 16th century in old city. Drive to Konurgench or Dashoguz border for passing to Uzbekistan, end of the tour.
